Lawn Bowling

Sorry, but Flash Player is required for viewing video content on this web site.

The basic principle of lawn bowling - throwing balls at a target - is the oldest known sport. As early as 5200 B.C., cave drawings show human figures participating in the activity of tossing a ball or polished stones. Although lawn bowling has changed a lot over the years, the basis for this sport derives from its birth in ancient Egypt. Lawn Bowling, also referred to as “bowls”, “bowling on the green” or “bocce” is truly a sport of accuracy and precision.
