March 31, 2010 - SportFit engages 9,000 B.C. students leading up to the 2010 Winter Games

Vancouver, B.C. (March 31, 2010): Thousands of schoolchildren across the province participated in their own activity challenge and went online to learn about Olympic and Paralympic sports leading up to the start of the 2010 Winter Games. SportFit (www.sportfitcanada.com), an online sport discovery program, toured the province this past winter to engage schoolchildren at recreation centres and schools, and to build a link between the Games and their own personal abilities.  Read full news release.

December 14, 2009 - SportFit at Torch Relay Community Celebrations

With excitement building for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, many BC cities are using SportFit to engage students leading up to the Torch Relay arriving in their community.

SportFit will be part of upcoming Torch Relay celebrations in the following BC communities:

Abbotsford - January 25 - February 6
Kamloops - January 18-26
Kelowna - January 11-22
Nelson - January 11-22
Osoyoos - January 11-22
Port Hardy - January 25 - February 1
Prince George - January 18-26
Revelstoke - January 18-25
Salmon Arm - January 18-26
Terrace - January 18-29
Vancouver - January 25 - February 9

Sept. 22, 2008 - SportFit launches new website

SportFit is pleased to launch its redesigned website aimed at improving ease of use for teachers/administrators and students. Some new features include enhanced reporting tools to track SportFit results by group or class faster and more efficiently. Also, B.C. teachers now have the ability to automatically upload class lists onto the website.
